Google’s Picasa is getting Adwords, just like Google News and Google Image Search.

Google Operating System reports Picasa is the latest Google property to be monetized with Google AdWords ads. If you conduct searches for pictures in Picasa’s web albums, you will find the ads at the top of the image results.

Google continues to increase its revenue stream in this downed economy by placing ads on every property it can. It stock price went down from whopping $700 to $350 which forced Google to pay down money to its employees.

The question is? How much can Google monetize? There are only so many properties it can put ads on? What happens after? Where does it go in search of revenue? Mobile search and book search look very good.
